Welcome to the HELP website!

If you are new to HELP, we welcome you and hope you can use this website as a resource throughout the semester. If you are looking to become a member of a fun, close-knit service oriented student organization, then you are in the right place. Through HELP, we hope to provide our members with a multitude of opportunities to get involved in the campus and community. Some of us have been on a volunteer trip to Puerto Rico together, and just this past winter we had 14 members go to Mexicali, Mexico to do service work and live with host families. We plan to continue with our commitment to campus and community leadership and are dedicated to also finding ways for our members to have intercultural and international experiences. OFFICER ELECTIONS WILL BE AT THE NEXT MEETING!!! IF INTERESTED IN RUNNING PLEASE BE PREPARED TO PRESENT! Open positions for next year are: Secretary, Web Technologist, Treasurer, National Outreach and Campus Outreach

Thur. 3/15, SOCIAL! 7:30pm, Angelic- Free Pizza and a great way for everyone to get to know each other! Contact Sarah C.at (sccollentine@wisc.edu) to R.S.V.P

Friday 3/16, DOC TALKS, 1:30pm (meeting up at 1pm), Partner up with a medical student to give a presentation on heart and lung health to 4th graders- contact Molly Sauerbry (sauerbry@wisc.edu) for more information.

Monday 3/19 (also 4/23) WELL CHILD CLINIC- 4-9pm, help lead a family through a well-child screening process and have the chance to also practice Spanish. Contact Sarah (sccollentine@wisc.edu)

Friday 3/23 AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM, 2:30-4:30, give a presentation (Molly has already put it together) to local elementary school kids

MAKE IT BEARABLE- underway- contact Sarah V if interested in helping out (smvangheem@wisc.edu)

HELP T-SHIRTS: if interested in ordering contact Stephanie (saziebarth@wisc.edu) or Sarah C. (sccollentine@wisc.edu) will be charcoal grey and feature "Everyone loves a HELP member" on the front, with the HELP acronym spelled out on the back.
